July 5-7 Rob Bell is having a little shindig with his good friends, Shane Hipps and Pete Rollins, in Grand Rapids. He calls it “Poets, Prophets and Preachers.” According to the website its: “A seminar for teachers, preachers, speakers, leaders and pastors serious about reclaiming the art of the sermon.”

Thanks to my lovely fiance, I got a live blogging gig with Zondervan who is helping put on the event.

For those who might like to go but can’t, check back here on Sunday 7p-9p, Monday 9a-9p and Tuesday 9a-6p for an actual live blogging of the entire event, complete with my commentary and thoughts!

PS-In the interest of full disclosure, my fiance works for Zondervan and because I am live blogging it I am going for free…but both won’t influence how I ‘cover’ the event :)

  3. Larry Diehl says:

Sign me up for a front row aisle seat please. Will you also be serving peanuts on our journey?

  4. Jeremy says:

  6. Lon says:

great gig – someone was telling me there wouldn’t be a wifi connection at the venue though…. is that not true?

  7. Travis says:

I won’t be able to bring my own peanuts. i had a free ticket as well but am heading back to home at MVNU from visiting family due to some interviews and orientations we are doing. I’m glad you are live blogging. I might live-blog your live blog… sort of like the non-attendee’s perspective from reading blogs and tweets.
